Sven-Göran Eriksson, with his return to the Olimpico, will conclude a sort of tour full of affection, after having been a guest of Liverpool, in the charity match between the legends of the English team against Ajax, Gothenburg, Benfica and Sampdoria, accompanied by another former Lazio player, Roberto Mancini. The Biancoceleste Olimpico could not be missed, where in 2000 I won the second Scudetto in Lazio’s history. In recent months, the Swedish coach announced his battle against a bad illness.

It will be a real return for him at the Olimpico, just over a year later. Eriksson had in fact attended the Derby between Lazio and Roma on 19 March 2023, in which the Biancocelesti won 1-0 thanks to Zaccagni’s goal.
