Madness at the Alpine party: he opens fire

Last May 11th, during the celebrations of the 95th National Alpine Gathering in Vicenza, an episode shook the tranquility of the event. A young man from Vicenza, resident in the city, was reported for causing an alarm and firing a gun in a public street. The episode occurred along Corso Palladio, one of the main arteries of the city, where the individual he fired at least one gunshot, which later turned out to be a blank.

The Flying Squad investigators intervened promptly, managing to recover and seize the blank pistol, a Bruni Mod.92, together with the related ammunition. The speed of the intervention made it possible to avoid panic among the participants in the demonstrationwhich saw the participation of thousands of people from all over Italy.

The National Alpine Gathering is an event of great importance for the community, a moment of celebration and remembrance for the members of the Alpine Corps and their families.
