DAZN has announced the plans and prices of its subscriptions to the streaming platform ahead of the start of the next Serie A season scheduled for mid-August. The subscriptions remain the usual three: Start, Standard and Plus. As regards prices, however, for the first two they remain unchanged but the Plus undergoes an increase of 60 euros considering the payment in a single solution, going from 539 euros per year to 599 euros per year.
DAZN also began communicating this price change via email to current customers who had subscribed to a one-time payment plan last year, in August. These customers, we read in the text of the email, will still have the possibility to withdraw from the service without penalties or deactivation costs within 60 days from the date of the communication.
“Starting from 08/11/2024, the new price of your plan (DAZN PLUS Annual with lump sum payment) it will be 599 euros per year, equal to 49.91 euros per month with a saving of over 10 euros per month compared to the monthly plan and a total saving of over 120 euros per year. You can choose to join the “Annual plan with deferred payment in 12 months” in complete autonomy, starting from 11 June 2024 by accessing the “Subscription” section within the “My Account” area. If you decide to activate the new plan, it will be active starting from 08/11/2024. Until that date you will continue to use the service at your old price”
The annual Plus plan with deferred payment, however, will go to 59.99 euros per month (12 installments), 10 euros more than the current 49.99 euros which last January had already been increased compared to the 45.99 euros of 2023. The prices refer to subscriptions subscribed via DAZN.com. The prices of the Start plans remain unchangedcurrently on promotion at a cost of 8.99 euros per month for 12 months without constraints, and the Standard plan.
The PLUS plan allows you to simultaneously watch live events broadcast or on-demand content on two registered devices, even in different locations (for example, a member of the subscriber’s household connected from home and the customer connected from a different location). The PLUS plan also allows you to register up to a maximum of seven devices to the DAZN App and use the DAZN service on the move, with simultaneous viewing.
The DAZN Standard plan, remember, it allows you to watch all the live events broadcast or on-demand content at the same time on two devices of the six devices that can be paired, as long as both are connected to the same internet network in your home.
DAZN Standard is available for 40.99 euros per month if you choose the option to cancel with 30 days notice. In case of annual subscription with the guarantee of a minimum stay of 12 months the monthly price drops to 34.99 euros. The third option, the one relating to the annual advance payment in a single solution, continues to provide a price of 359 euros per year.
With the Plus and Standard packages, as well as the entire Serie A TIM and the entire Serie BKTit is possible to access the entire LaLiga EA Sports, the UEFA Europa League, the best of the Conference League, as well as women’s competitions with the UEFA Women’s Champions League and other international ones such as the English cups, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. The packages also include the Serie A UnipolSai, Euroleague and Eurocup basketball, the NFL, boxing, UFC and the best of international fighting, Eurosport HD 1 and HD 2 with tennis, cycling, volleyball and athletics as well as in-depth programs and original content.
At the end of last year, DAZN was awarded the rights to broadcast Serie A TIM matches for the next 5 years. DAZN will continue to broadcast all 10 matches scheduled for each day, while Sky Italia will have 3 co-exclusive matches but with a better choice every 3-4 rounds.
