FABRIANO – LabStoria announces that today, at 3 pm, the twenty-fourth meeting of the project “An hour of local history with LabStoria” will take place in the Library. Francesco Maria ORSOLINI and Anna MASSINISSA will speak on the topic: «Homage to Sirio Bellucci, the fabulous mocker».

Francesco Maria Orsolini, born in Camerino, graduated from the “Costanza Varano” classical high school in the same city, graduated with honors in Literature and Philosophy from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome, historical-artistic specialization and degree thesis in Aesthetics with Emilio Garroni , co-supervisor Tullio de Mauro, followed the Specialization Course in History of Medieval and Modern Art at the University of Parma, directed by Arturo Carlo Quintavalle. He was artistic coordinator of the Camerino Electronic Art Festival (1984-1988) and curator of exhibitions of many contemporary artists and photographers. He is the author of the school text «Art Vision Representation» and of numerous essays, including «The illuminated cloud and the dark candelabra. Giovan Battista Tiepolo’s altarpiece of San Filippo in Camerino”. Since 1992 he has been a member of the National Order of Journalists, list of publicists; he has published articles in newspapers, periodicals and art magazines. Professor of aesthetics and semiotics at the European Institute of Design in Rome in the years 1982-’83, from 1984 to 1996 he was a teacher of art history in secondary schools, at the Art Institute of Fabriano, then school director for the classical high schools of Fabriano and Senigallia and for the «E. Mannucci”. He is part of the study committee for the celebrations of the artist Luigi Bartolini and is the contact person for the province of Ancona and member of the national steering committee of ANISA (National Association of Art History Teachers). Recently, inside the Puccini Gallery in Ancona, he curated the exhibition of Sirio Bellucci’s works, entitled «Il Favoloso beffardo».

Anna Massinissa, Industrial Designer by profession, worked from 1983 to 2021 for the most important companies and institutions in the Marche region, in the fields of consultancy, marketing and communication, publishing and web technologies. In the 90s you taught techniques for digital illustration and experimented with emerging multimedia techniques by applying them to theater and the web. In 2006 you founded the «InArte» Cultural Association with the aim of sharing and growing the same artistic passion that you have cultivated since childhood. For «InArte», with prestigious national and international bodies and institutions, you have created and coordinated numerous events dedicated to contemporary visual and plastic arts, with a marked predilection for painting on paper. You are curator and artistic director of the international conference «FabrianoInAcquarello», now in its fifteenth edition, and of the network of over 80 countries around the world. As an artist you have participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. She has always preferred research with materials typical of her land (cellulose, handmade paper, fabrics, natural pigments) and traditional techniques used in unconventional applications, as well as themes linked to human cultures and the evolution of expression .
