A day dedicated to families meeting, playing and having fun for the boys and girls from local schools. With tournaments, sporting activities, cultural initiatives, knowledge of local associations, a community space, interculturality and inclusion. It was all this and much more at the May event that brought hundreds of people to the Golden Wings park in Monigo, last May 11th, there were over four hundred minors alone, accompanied by parents and teachers. The afternoon was organized by the Ic 5 School and Territory group, made up of parents of pupils from the neighborhoods north of Treviso, with the coordination of the La Esse cooperative and the partnership of the 5 Coletti comprehensive institute. Numerous sporting, cultural, voluntary and social promotion associations took part in the event, including Coni, Suem, the Prevention and Health department of Ulss 2, Lilt, scout, Sant’Egidio, I care and many others.
Many activities were organized for children and young people of different ages, from infancy to middle school, to whom the local bakers also offered a snack.
The event included a performance by the students of the Coletti middle school “Art and technology, music and words” which took place on Friday 10 May in the church of San Liberale. The initiative is part of the “Vicinanze – School and territory to build the future” project, selected by the social enterprise Con i bambini as part of the Fund to combat child educational poverty.
