Unions protesting the death of Giuseppe Carpinelli, 33, which occurred in Salemi during his work shift at a wind farm.

The man fell into the void from one of the shovels he was working on, losing his life a few hours after the Casteldaccia tragedy. The investigators are evaluating from what height the worker fell, with the firefighters also having had many difficulties when recovering the body considering that after the fall the body had stopped at about 50 meters in height. Yesterday a sit-in took place in front of the Trapani prefecture. The secretaries of CGL of Trapani declared: “We are tired and worried, we need a synergistic mobilization to ensure that workers return home safe and sound”.
