Clodiense of the year, the Golden Leon goes to Roberto Boscolo Bachetto

The proclamation and awarding of the Golden Leon among the 5 Clodiensians of the Year took place last night in the auditorium. The primary sector entrepreneur Roberto Boscolo Bacchetto won the recognition.


THE VIVAI BACHETTO COMPANY

The company was founded about 20 years ago with the nursery production of horticultural and fruit plants. Since then things have evolved a lot and today it has around 600 million seedlings produced annually, with an export share of around 25%. The most consistent reference is the industrial tomato, followed by chicory”. The numbers of Vivai Bacchetto indicate 20 hectares of greenhouses and 250 collaborators.

In strictly alphabetical order, here are the other winners of the day:

–Bozzato Roberto and Alfredo entrepreneurs in the carpentry automation sector;

–Pagan Luca custom painting artist;

–Penzo Elena, in carrying out her activity, saved the life of a person;

–Portioned Andrea doctor researcher.


Before the delivery of the Golden Leon, some recognition plaques were delivered.

The first went to the Congregation of Servants of Mary Addolorata for 150 years of service to the local community and in the mission: the vicar Sr. Ada Nelly received the plaque from the mayor.

The second recognition of the Clodiense Committee to the architect. Renzo Ravagnan for the thirty years of work of his prestigious school of technician for the restoration of cultural heritage in Italy (Chioggia and Venice) and in Yemen (extended in that country also to women!); awarded by Msgr. Zenna.

Third plaque and pin of the Committee to the commander of the naval squadron of the GdF of Chioggia Vincenzo Mandola for the work of protecting order and safety at sea with interventions of great importance also recognized at a national level. Awarded by prof. Dino Memmo.
