Volterra: pours petrol at the ex’s house and turns on the gas. Arrested

PISA – He was not resigned to the end of the relationship with his partner and began to stalk her, going as far as dousing the girl’s house with petrol and leaving the gas on in the kitchen. For this reason a man was arrested by the Pisa police in Volterra. A few months ago the relationship between the two boys ended and, from that moment, the young woman’s life was completely turned upside down by the persecutory behavior of her ex who, not accepting the separation, first bombarded her with telephone messages and then, remaining unchanged the situation began to get violent.

The victim filed a complaint with the military but, increasingly fearful, she decided to move her home to acquaintances. Despite this, the ex allegedly entered the girl’s house through the skylight, then turned on the gas in the kitchen and doused the rooms with petrol. The Carabinieri, having arrived at the house, turned off the gas, disconnected the electricity and opened doors and windows, also proceeding to evacuate the neighbors present in the neighboring houses. Immediately afterwards they went to the man’s house, who was picked up and arrested for stalking.

During the search, objects generally compatible with the crimes committed were found and seized, including two empty cans still smelling of petrol. The arrested person was then taken to the Pisa prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
