Over the years we have witnessed the arrival on the shelves of a large number of chapters of Assassin’s Creedbut among all there is one that is unsurpassed in terms of the level of graphic detail.
We are talking about Assassin’s Creed Unity, the episode of the Ubisoft series that arrived in the now distant 2014 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title in question marked the abandonment of support for the previous generation consoles, on which the French company limited itself to publishing the spin-off Assassin’s Creed Rogue, dedicated to the particular figure of Shay Patrick Cormac, i.e. the assassin who becomes a Templar.

As mentioned above, net of the years that have passed, Unity continues to be considered the highest point reached by Ubisoft in graphic terms, also thanks to the fact that it was a game much more ‘content’ than the episodes that arrived latercharacterized by a huge open world with lots of NPCs and activities to do.
If played on a gaming PC capable of running it with all settings at maximum, Unity does not need to resort to any mods to overcome Syndicate, Origins and the other chapters of the Ubisoft series. From the quality of faces at the yield of materials (from the fabrics of the protagonist’s clothes to the precious marble of the sumptuous interiors), every single aspect of the game shows incredible attention to detail and a truly high level of quality. An excellent person then thought of exalting all this lighting systemwhich did most of the work and made it look incredible.
As if that wasn’t enough, Assassin’s Creed Unity also continues to be the chapter in the series with the best animations. Arno’s movements during the parkour sessions are the most realistic and natural ever seen in the series, which over the years has no longer managed to offer something similar, perhaps also due to the lack of verticality which made this series lose importance gameplay dynamics.
