In the year 2007, in Rizziconi, a town in the center of the Gioia Tauro plain in the province of Reggio Calabria, the ASD Rizziconi was born thanks to the great passion of Mister Renato Naso, an amateur sports association with the aim of bringing together and transmitting the passion for Football, making them grow well, strengthening their character, teaching fundamental values such as loyalty, solidarity, friendship and teamwork.
In this process, the ASD Rizziconi finds collaboration and support from the URMIG Association, a voluntary association also from Rizziconi dei F.lli Ierace engaged in the social and healthcare sector and in sports activities.
This year too, ASD Rizziconi took part in the eagerly awaited “REAL CUP” youth football tournament which takes place in Gioia Tauro and saw the categories “Primi Calci 2015/2016” and “Pulcini 2013/2014” and the “2011/2012 Rookies” from the five Calabrian provinces, and the Pulcini category deservedly took home an excellent fourth place. The tournament was held between 20 and 25 April, the day of the finals.
A partnership that sees many people involved, these moments of aggregation must be a driving force for future generations with the aim of growing by maturing those values and that spirit that unites one with the other, good foundations can lead over time to forming first of all of the wonderful people and why not.
With a little luck and courage, some talent will be able to seize the right moment and have a deserved success in the big footballing landscapes.
