PESARO – Fire, in Pesaro, at the Muraglia Calcio sports field. Poplar trees on fire, firefighters in action just before 5pm. For reasons currently under investigation, the fluff (in large quantities) that has accumulated under the poplar trees bordering the Muraglia sports field (parking, playing field, grandstand, changing room and tensile structure) and a shed, caught fire, developing flames that dangerously touched the area where at that moment several dozen children from the youth sector were located, with their staff, ready for afternoon training.

The worry

Smoke enveloped the area and required the mass intervention of firefighters to prevent the flames from affecting the trees themselves but also from spreading to the structure or, worse, to the new generation synthetic turf. Operations still in progress
