Mina September 3 turns to Maschio Angevin of Naples. The Angevin castle overlooking Piazza Municipio will be transformed for a whole day into the set of the acclaimed series of Rai Uno, produced by Italian International Filmthat has Serena Rossi as the protagonist and is inspired by the writer’s novels Maurizio De Giovanni. Film shooting will take place on May 14th. Both the courtyard and the Sala della Loggia with the adjoining space for receptions will be used as locations, where civil weddings that fall within the 1st Municipality of Chiaia-Posillipo-San Ferdinando are usually held. But any citizen can apply to hold their wedding at the castle. However, given the prestige of the rooms and the spectacular view that can be enjoyed from the windows, the waiting list for newlyweds is usually very long. Will there also be a wedding in the third season – perhaps the last – of Mina?
The locations of the third season of Mina Settembre
Filming of Mina Settembre 3 started on February 19th, as reported by Fanpage.it, together with those of Commissioner Ricciardi 3another Rai fiction born from the pen of De Giovanni, with Linen Pillow in the role of the protagonist. Many scenes of Mina Settembre are filmed in symbolic locations in the Chiaia and Santa Lucia areas. In via Chiaia there is the house of Claudio De Carolis, the magistrate and Mina’s ex-husband. In the San Ferdinando neighborhood there is, for example, the house of one of Mina’s best friends, Irene Pirontiplayed by Christiane Filangierilawyer, mother of Gianluca and wife of Paolo.
In via Generale Orsini there is the building where Mina often speaks on the intercom, even at night. Mina herself often loves walking along the seafront of via Partenope and via Caracciolo, taking her to the Castel dell’Ovo. Among the other neighborhoods used for filming there is, then, the Health district. TO Palazzo San Felice there is the clinic where Mina works. The social worker sometimes uses the Montesanto Funicular to go up to Vomero. On other occasions, the sets were set up in Piazza del Gesù and Piazza dei Martiri.
