CASALMAGGIORE – He gets behind the wheel after drinking and causes an accident, fortunately without injuries. The Carabinieri of the Solarolo Rainerio station reported a fifty-year-old for driving while intoxicated, with a police record against him, who yesterday afternoon, driving a vehicle, caused a road accident in via Dante Alighieri in Casalmaggiore.
The man, driving a vehicle owned by another person, while walking along Via Dante, he hit the vehicle in front of him, but no one was injured. Following the road accident, the intervention of the Carabinieri and the Solarolo military personnel was requested, who intervened on site, they identified the drivers and carried out investigations, ascertaining the dynamics of the road accident. AND the 50-year-old was subjected to a breathalyzer test taking into account that during the identification phases he showed symptoms due to alcohol abuse, highlighting a value of over 2.00 g/l, i.e. four times over the permitted limit. Having received confirmation of his state of psychophysical alteration while driving and taking into account the aggravating circumstance of having caused a road accident, the Carabinieri of the Solarolo Rainerio station reported him to the judicial authorities and his license was withdrawnwhile the vehicle was returned to the owner.
