Open, was born in 2021 in Aragona, a small village 10 km from the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento and the Scala dei Turchi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here an old dried fruit warehouse has been expertly renovated and now houses a copper distiller handcrafted by the German Müller family, leaders in the world of still production since 1929. The distiller affectionately called “Mimì” was designed with a basket suspension for the most delicate botanicals and a pre-condenser, which by extracting the essential oils delicately and with the utmost respect for the raw material, allows the production of a gin with a complex and elegant taste, which won over the judges of the authoritative international competition .
