Caraglio wins narrowly away in the first match of the regional phase of the Second and Third Category Piedmont Cup. After triumphing in the provincial competition, De Simone’s team made its debut yesterday evening, Wednesday 8 May, in the triangular match of the next phase, on the pitch of Valfenera from Asti, a Third Category team (it was promoted by winning the championship): it a narrow success arrived with the result of 1-0 signed by Pasero’s goal, which allows the green and whites to gain 3 points and take an important step towards qualifying for the semi-final.
Qualification to which the first classified of the three triangular events and the best second place enter. Caraglio will now be spectators of the match scheduled for Wednesday 15 May between Viguzzolese and Valfenera, then on 22 May they will host Viguzzolese, a team from Alessandria who finished in fourth place in Group H of the Second Category and will play the playoffs. The semi-finals are scheduled, with home and away matches, on Wednesday 29 May and Wednesday 5 June, the final will be played on Wednesday 12 June on a neutral pitch.
