Double gold for Gaia Verardi in the youth paralympic swimming

The athlete who constantly works to grow and improve, carefully followed by his coach Fabrizio Cinquinain the Marche he reaped the fruits of hard training.

Verardi climbed to the top step of the podium in the 50 backstroke race with a time of 44″64 and in the 50 breaststroke completed in 50″94. Thanks to these excellent placings, Verardi brought her club to eleventh place in the special ranking reserved for the teams out of the 52 at the starting line.

In addition to the two medals of the most precious metal, Verardi was also the best female swimmer of the Italian competition in the debutants category, crowning a season to remember for the red and white athlete who has already established several Italian records in the category this year: in 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 backstroke and 50 breaststroke.

Gaia Verardi was visibly satisfied: “I am happy to have achieved all the objectives I had set for myself. I am grateful to my coach Fabrizio Cinquina who has always believed in me, to my club H2O Sport and to all those responsible for FINP and CIP who made me discover this wonderful world.”
