“Give me 4 thousand euros and I’ll delete the hard photos”, but the meeting was a trap. A policeman arrested

They told the police at the police station that some time before the carabiniere, who among other things is also a relative of theirs, had contacted first one and then the other young woman saying that he had found compromising photos of them on the Internet. The young women had firmly denied being them, they had never photographed themselves or had themselves photographed naked, so it couldn’t have been them. They were more than certain of this. But the soldier, to confirm what he claimed, would have sent the women the photos in question from which it was clear that in both cases it was a photomontage: the faces were theirs but not the bodies. One of the sisters would have immediately ended the conversation, with the other the man would have insisted, claiming that from the photos they looked like them and that he was able to have them removed from the web. However, the procedure to delete those photos from the Internet once and for all was paid: to be precise, the cost was 2,000 euros. The two young women, therefore, would have had to pay a total of 4,000 euros to make those hot photos disappear from the Internet. This is what the women reportedly told the police.

Flying team in action

The particularly delicate affair was followed by the police headquarters’ flying squad, the officers reassured the young women that everything would be resolved in the best possible way and in a short time suggesting how to move to frame him. Upon indication from the police, one of the sisters had thus called the policeman back, humoring him and pretending to want to pay the sum, and had arranged a meeting with him at her house in a municipality in the province. However, the two would not have been alone on the day of the meeting. There would have been about ten Mobile agents stationed near and inside the house, including their manager, Chief Commissioner Anna Moffa, to monitor the situation and intervene at the appropriate time. So yesterday morning around 10 the operation began: the soldier and the young woman met then, once the money had been transferred, the police intervened and arrested the carabiniere. The man is now in Marino del Tronto prison awaiting the validation hearing. He is defended by the lawyer Simone Mancini of the Fermo bar. “I am dismayed by the news I have read, the one I know is a good person: let’s wait and see,” said the lawyer. After the arrest, Mobile agents seized his cell phone and a couple of computers found in the house during the house search. In the next few hours the investigations will continue on PC and telephone.
