Xbox is reportedly considering a Game Pass price increase

Just when we thought the bad news about Xbox was over, here comes another one related this time to Xbox Game Pass.

The Verge in fact, it talks about Microsoft’s internal struggles regarding the Game Pass subscription.

According to the report, Microsoft would consider the possibility of increase the price again of Game Pass (which you can find on Amazon).

At the time of writing there is nothing official, but it seems that the internal problems at Microsoft and Xbox are not over, now also regarding the price of Game Pass.

As you may well recall, the cost of the season ticket was increased last summer and now it seems that the team is discussing internally whether increase it again.

Always The Verge believes the current Game Pass pricing debate is about the integration of call of Duty in the catalogue.

The report also says that Microsoft is considering other options, such as not including the latest releases at all call of Duty in Game Pass.

This is reportedly an internal debate that has been going on for some time, with some worrying that the revenue that call of Duty typically generates for Activision Blizzard to be compromised by Game Pass.

It’s worth pointing out that these are just rumors at the moment, so a final decision could mean that a future release of call of Duty will also appear for Game Pass users.

We will follow the evolution of the situation closely, given that the reported changes seem to still be in the decision phase (as well as the alleged new closures arriving, after those of last Tuesday).

Staying on the subject of Xbox Game Pass, there is also some potential good news: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogythe remaster of the trilogy dedicated to peramele, was surprisingly uploaded to the Microsoft Store: the arrival on Game Pass could be close.
