The Antiquarium Turritano Museum of Porto Torres, Friday 10 May 2024, from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm, in collaboration with the Corda Bakery of Porto Torres, the Bettua Olive Company of Gonnosfanadiga and the Bentu – Nurra Winery, organizes a conference entitled: “Bread, oil, wine and archaeology. Food and wine production from ancient times to today: dialogue with archaeologists and companies”.

On the occasion of national oil and wine daywhich together with bread form the so-called Mediterranean triad, the multiple aspects will be illustrated at the Museum, with brief historical-archaeological reports and targeted interventions, which characterize and distinguish the current production of products between ancient and modern.

The objective is to combine scientific dissemination with the production companies operating in the Sardinian territory, which will have the opportunity to promote their activities and have some of their typical products tasted, which are still the basis of the economy and nutrition of our time.
