THE BUDGET
Fedriga spoke of “comforting and positive results”, underlining that even those forecast for the current year “are higher than expectations”. «We are working for an all-round offer on Friuli Venezia Giulia capable of satisfying the needs of the different types of tourists, also with a renewal of communication – he added – and the presence we have had in the international media, for example in Time Square it made it possible to reach new countries that were out of the reach of Friuli Venezia Giulia”. Despite the pandemic, in the last five years there has been a net increase of around 300 thousand arrivals and almost 700 thousand annual presences. According to Fedriga, “focusing on deseasonalization and the quality of services represents the winning formula”. For his part, Councilor Bini stated that the «consolidated data for the first quarter are growing everywhere, demonstrating that this region is considered beautiful, safe, with affordable prices and capable of offering high quality services compared to other areas of the Village”.
