We receive from the Tricolore Agrarian list and publish
Once again the opposition councilors demonstrate that they do not care for the city and the agricultural body, and they desert the important meeting of the Council of the Agricultural University only to avoid having a quorum.
Last night the agenda included the election of the Prime Minister. The statutory provision requires that at least 12 councilors must be present to formalize this election. Unfortunately, the necessary number has not been met and it is not the fault of the majority. In fact, all 11 councilors elected with the Tricolore Agrarian List were present among the council benches. President Alberto Riglietti underlined – “The two minority lists had promised a constructive and collaborative opposition, but their benches remained desolately empty. Democracy wants even voters on the losing lists to have the right to be represented and minority councilors to have a moral obligation towards their voters to participate in the work. However, we move forward. “
