Bondeno (Ferrara), 8 May 2024 – Cyclist 18 year old hit by a car the other night, in via dei Mille in Bondenois now hospitalized in intensive care at Maggiore in Bologna.
Struggle between life and death the boy who was riding his two-wheeler around 11.30 pm when, at the crossroads between via Virgiliana and via XX Settembre (at the Rana di Bondeno bridge), collided with a car.
The young man, of North African origins, seems to was crossing the road towards the cycle path which passes over the canal when the accident occurred: the car, however, was proceeding towards Ferrara. One of the customers in the bar next door raised the alarm.
They are on site immediately the 118 health workers and the air ambulance arrived, in addition to the carabinieri who carried out the investigations to understand the exact dynamics. The 18-year-old was treated on site but, given the criticality of the situation, the doctors preferred to urgently transfer him to the Maggiore hospital in Bologna. The air ambulance landed in the sports field of the ‘Pollastri’ stadium to transport the injured man to the hospital.
According to what we learn the boy’s condition would be extremely serious (now hospitalized in intensive care). The Burana Carabinieri investigated the accident and are working to try to reconstruct the dynamics of the serious accident. Furthermore, the police are investigating to dispel any doubts about the causes of the investment.
