International appreciation for Italian know-how, synonymous with excellence and refined taste, continues to grow “Made in Italy”: the Apulians in the world “a phenomenon”
In the prestigious Hall of Parliamentary Groups of the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, a very important conference was held on Monday 13 May 2024 with the theme: “Entrepreneurs and Importers, the American dream and returning tourism”.
The event saw the participation of illustrious Italian-American honorable members and importers from Florida, as well as a large representation of entrepreneurs from all over Italy, with a significant presence of Apulian figures who contributed to giving prestige to our unmistakable “Made in Italy”.
The event was organized by Italian Producer USA, under the expert direction by Giusi MalcangiPresident of “Puglia Top Quality”.
During the conference, the multiple values of “Made in Italy” were highlighted through various interventions. On this occasion, the “Italian Excellences”, exclusive works in Apulian ceramics, were delivered to the entrepreneurs. Among these, a star created specifically for the event stands out, a symbol of the American dream and a tribute to the stars present on the cobblestones of Piazza Montecitorio in Rome, embodying the motto: “Make your life a dream, and a dream reality”.
Entrepreneurs and Importers, the American dream and returning Tourism: Award for Molfetta
The city of Molfetta played a leading role, with the awarding of awards to Roberto Maggialettia leading entrepreneur in the tourism and entertainment sector in Puglia, a virtuous example of how passion and dedication can translate into a successful career, enriching not only one’s personal life but also the cultural and tourist fabric of the region.
The chef Fulvio Petroli, a great chef of Puglia cuisine, has received praise for his commitment to enhancing “roots cuisine”. With pride and passion, Chef Petroli has honed his culinary skills, becoming a point of reference in the gastronomic scene, especially in the historic 18th century palace in Molfetta, Pàlato.
Roberto Pansini, a fervent promoter of Apulian culture in the world and in particular in North America, has developed important cultural and social connections for over 20 years. Creator of the brand “I Love Molfetta”, notable projects have been carried out on “return tourism” linked to the roots, with excellent results. His commitment was recognized with the Honor of Knight of the Italian Republic in December 2022, he received the nomination as delegate for Confactions in New Jersey (USA).
