Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint Germain 0-1 at the Parc des Princes thanks to a goal by Mats Hummels assisted by Julian Brandt’s flag in the 50th minute. The Germans qualify for the final where they will face the winner between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich scheduled for Wednesday.
In the second half, PSG hit two posts, with Warren Zaïre-Emery and Nuno Mendes, and two crossbars with Kylian Mbappé and Vitinha. After the 1-0 in the first leg, Edin Terzic’s BVB got the better of the French by two goals.
The first half
At the 19th lateral foul for Borussia, a triangulation between Ryerson and Fullkrug, the Norwegian defender goes to shoot, his conclusion is muffled on the outside of the net.
At BVB’s 35th restart, Brandt widens for Adeyemi who starts with a sprint like a sprinter, enters the area and shoots, Donnarumma saves the goal.
In the 45th minute, Mbappé passes back to Fabian Ruiz, a first-time shot that hits Schlotterbeck, the ball in the corner.
The second half
At the 47th cross by Mbappé from the left, both Sabitzer and Ramos touch the ball, Zaire-Emery finishes first from close range but finds the post.
In the 50th corner from the left for Borussia, Hummels heads the ball at the far post and scores: Germans ahead.
In the 61st minute Nuno Mendes pounces on the ball on the edge of the area and shoots directly towards goal but hits the post.
In the 77th corner for Borussia kicked by Brandt, header by Fullkrug and conclusion by Hummels, ball in goal but the referee disallows it for offside.
