The Strada del Costo is temporarily closed uphill, while downhill the road is diverted towards Cogollo del Cengio. This temporary inconvenience for those coming and going from the plateau was caused by an accident involving a heavy vehicle.
From an initial reconstruction, it seems that it may have been an illness on the part of the driver which caused the vehicle to crash into the wall along the road.
Emergency vehicles and law enforcement were on site to regulate traffic.
