“The void you leave is inexpressible Mom, and no one will ever be able to fill it” begins her long post on Instagram. “As misunderstandable as it may sound, we are relieved at the thought that your pain is over, because you didn’t deserve even a shred of it” she wrote, reiterating what she had also expressed in recent weeks via social media. In fact, Mrs Parasliti had discovered in November 2022 that he had ALS and in recent months her condition had worsened to the point that the woman had been transferred to a hospice. “Now our pain continues, mine” she continues Carlotta Ferlito in his message “as if it hadn’t already consumed me enough, aware however that life gives so much and takes away so much, so it must be lived 100%. I hope I have made you proud, if you leave a splendid and united family it’s only thanks to you.” Among the photos she put up to remember her there is also the image of a guardian angel that the two women got tattooed “You will always be my guardian angel. I hope that the hole in my chest that I feel now can soon transform into your presence that accompanies me on this crazy and often cruel journey we call life.”
Carlotta Ferlito he had explained how his mother had already made all the decisions for his last days. “As a daughter, I think the greatest pain is seeing your mother’s face fade away. I see it fade away day after day” she wrote on social media. Although her entire family was ready for this sad fate, the pain of losing a mother is obviously enormous. Transferring her to a hospice was necessary to accompany her “to her new life in the most peaceful way possible”.
