Three days of regattas with 4 races completed, this is the balance of the Spring Regattas organized in Portofino by the Italian Yacht Club, reserved for boats from 50 feet upwards, divided into IRC and Open categories. A varied fleet of cruiser racers and maxi cruisers will be racing, including the 100′ ARCA and the full foiling monotype Flying Nikka, as well as a large presence from the Ice Yachts, Solaris and Grand Soleil shipyards.
The three days of regatta were characterized by medium-light winds from the southern quadrants, with a maximum intensity recorded in the first and third days of around 12 knots, lighter during day 2. Three races were carried out on coastal courses, one stick. Many i well-known names of professional sailors of the national offshoresuch as Andrea Fornaro, Matteo Sericano, the Benussi brothers, Enrico Zennaro, Andrea Casale, just to name a few of those present.

In the Open group, victory for the Wally 80 Aori Tyrolitbefore Bamboo IVthe Solaris 50 from the Swiss shipowner Renzo Francothird place for Bandidothe Mexican’s ICE 70 RS Ernesto Aguilarwho on the last day managed to rise in position to the detriment of Enigmathe Solaris 50 by Giacomo Enea Mansuttiwhich slipped to fourth place by just two points.
In the final ranking of the IRC group, however, a double for the shipyard ICE Yachts with the ICE 52 in the lead No Regretbefore Soleagthe French ICE 53 of Jean Yves Thomas. Third on equal points Mistral Gagnantthe Solaris 50 by Marco Ferrerowhich paid for fourth place in today’s test.
The top performance of the “king of video games”
