Great participation in the event organized by the Derviese Sports Union, 219 at the start
DERVIO – La third edition of the Lake Como Bike Marathonthe challenge on the paths of the Dervio area valid for Lombardy MTB Cup, saw the participation of a large number of mountain bike enthusiasts. The race took place over a 40 km route with 1,400 meters of altitude difference.
Overall victory for Adriano Caratide (Leynicese Rdr Italia) who in 2h00’40” was right in the final of Daniele Mario Rainoldi (Team Da-Tor/Issb) for just 22″, third Mattia Farina (Lissone Mtb) 2’50” ahead of Riccardo Panizza (Team Comobike) winner in 2023 and 3’36” behind, fifth Christian Rossi (Hr team) at 5’25”. Claudia Peretti (Olympia Factory Team) confirms herself among the womenwinner in 2h29’02” with 14’28” up Chiara Mandelli (Team Todesco) and 16’17” up Maria Cristina Nisi (Boscaro Racing Team).
I am 219 classified, an important number considering the many concomitances on Sunday. For theDerviese Sports Union a great edition is coming to an end, supported by many associations and sponsors who believe in this event and who are ready to invest to make it grow further. The race crossed the municipalities of Dervio, Valvarrone, Sueglio, Dorio and Colico whose administrations actively participated in the event. The Lombardy Cup continues and the next appointment for the next stage is set for May 26th with the Forcora Bike.
