(Adnkronos) – The 2024 Giro d’Italia faces the second stage today, the 161 km San Francesco al Campo-Santuario di Oropa, with the first climbs on the race route which will be broadcast live on TV and streaming. The Ecuadorian Jhonatan Narvaez, winner of the first stage sprint in Turin yesterday, will have to work hard to keep the pink jersey. Today’s section, 5 May 2024, offers a flat route for around 93 km, up to Valdengo: from there on, an alternation of climbs and descents destined to break up the group and liven up the afternoon. You go up to climb first the Crocemosso, then Oasi Zegna and Nelva.
