Great victory for Logiman Broni, who conquered the parquet of the Halley Thunder Matelica and took home Game 3, guaranteeing a place in the semifinals. The match is very balanced at the beginning and the two teams remain paired for most of the first quarter. At the end, Broni attempted to escape, finishing at 21-26. The second period is rather similar to the second, with Broni who, thanks to two triples at the end, goes into halftime at 36-42, after the two teams had not exceeded a gap of more than two points for the entire ten minutes. The third quarter, however, is dominated by the home team, which scores a 21-9 run and turns the situation around: thanks to an excellent Gramaccioni, this time Matelica ends the quarter in front, with a score of 57-51. Balance reigns in the final quarter, with the two teams tied at 64 with two minutes to go. Poggio on the line with sixty seconds on the clock makes it 1/2 and on the other side Coser brings his points in front with a support on the glass. Gramaccioni is then blocked by Bonvecchio and Kraujunaite misses the basket which could give the home team the advantage again: Broni doesn’t let himself be overcome and closes 65-66. Giulia Moroni is the top scorer of the match and despite Matelica dominating the area (40-14) she fails to qualify, giving way to Broni, who will now meet Udine.
