To the Doria castle of Dolceacqua selections are underway for the “Masters of Olive Oil International Contest 2024” with tastings of over 250 oils from fourteen nations on four continents by a jury of expert “panel leaders”, called upon to define the list of finalists in the various competing categories, who will subsequently be tasted and evaluated by a team international conference of sixteen international experts, coming from seven countries among the main olive oil producers, who will award the prizes: gold, silver and bronze.

The nations represented are: Italy, Greece, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Albania, Japan, South Africa and Brazil. The results of the jury’s work will be revealed on June 8th in the Congress Hall of the Novotel in Montecarlo, on the final day when the usual international meeting will take place with a panel of speakers made up of university professors, industrial producers of oil machinery and market experts.
