The new electric MINI Cooper officially debuted last year and has already been available in Italy for a few months. We remind you that this model is proposed in the E and SE versions. The first offers a 135 kW/184 HP engine, 40.7 kWh battery (36.6 kWh usable) and a range of 305 km.
The second, however, can count on a single electric motor with 160 kW/218 HP and 330 Nm of torque. The engine is powered by a 54.2 kWh battery (49.2 kWh usable) located in the floor of the car which allows a range of 402 km according to the WLTP cycle. The price list (valid from May 1, 2024) of this model for Italy is as follows (the 1,000 euro Delivery Package must be added to the cost).

All electric versions except the Cooper SE JCW are compatible with the incentives which, as we know, provide a price limit for the car of 35,000 euros plus VAT, i.e. 42,700 euros. The current scheme provides for a contribution of 3,000 euros without scrapping and 5,000 euros with scrapping.
If the Government does not delay further, by the end of May the new Ecobonus 2024 should come into force which offers important contributions for the purchase of electric cars, even up to over 13,000 euros with the scrapping of an old car up to Euro 2 and ISEE under 30,000 euros.

Even in the absence of an old car to be scrapped, the Ecobonus regulation still provides for a contribution of 6,000 euros which rises to 7,500 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros.
