The Pachino police arrested a 23-year-old local accused of family abuse, aggravated injuries and threats. The young man, according to what emerges in the reconstruction of the carabinieri, would have taken a violent attitude towards his partner who would have systematically insulted her, threatened her with death and beaten her with kicks and punches, causing injuries.
The complaint
The woman, who feared for her life, decided to contact the police and so, following the victim’s report, the police started investigations, coordinated by the Syracuse Prosecutor’s Office, from which several episodes of mistreatment emerged , even previous ones and never reported.
Under house arrest
The elements of the investigation collected by the military were examined by the Aretusea judicial authority which, agreeing with the investigative findings, asked the Court for a precautionary measure against the man who was arrested and placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

The Carabinieri arrested Nunzio Zuccaro, 62, a mafia member with a history of two murders, kidnapping, concealment of a body, mafia association and robbery in Catania for family mistreatment of his ex-wife.
