After the great success of the meeting with the writer Donatella Di Pietrantonio, candidate for the Strega prize, the “Bagli Narranti” literary festival continues with an event dedicated to young readers. On Friday 3 May at 6.00 pm, at the Agriturismo Vultaggio, in Guarrato, the book “Alice in the dark country” will be presented. Journey into an underwater world” by Leonardo Torre.

The event is organized by the “Misiliscemi” Association with the collaboration of the Municipal Youth Council, the Municipality and the Ubik bookshop of Erice.

They will converse with the author, Jacopo Triscari and the journalist Maurizio Macaluso. The readings will be by professor Antonella Scaduto.

The book “Alice in the Dark World” tells the story of a teenager victim of bullying, searching for his own identity in the depths of the insidious world of the dark web. Through an online game, the protagonist faces a series of challenges to achieve spiritual purification, but will find himself in increasingly dangerous and disturbing situations.

This is a current and important topic, which involves not only children but also adults, who are invited to participate and discuss these issues that are so relevant to contemporary society. Entrance to the event is free.
