I never thought of abandoning everything because it was impossible as a thought, the idea never crossed my mind even after the accident. It would have been inconceivable not to try. I went through phases including that of re-learning to run, then I obtained some results and acquired different levels of awareness, learning to manage the things that go well but also those that go wrong”
