Victoria Justice, best known for her role as Tori Vega on the Nickelodeon series Victorious, said that when she worked on Paul Tamasy’s film Depravity she was asked to shoot a sex scene on her first day of filming on set. A situation that made her very nervous.

Especially since it was his first sex scene absolutely:“My first day on set I shot my first sex scene. I was like, ‘Really, guys? Are we going to do this on the first day? Great, thanks for this.’ It’s embarrassing. I was very nervous and totally anxious about the whole situation and I was like, ‘Did I make the wrong choice? I don’t know if I should do this.'”. Justice recalled for the umpteenth time that sex scenes for actors are often above all strange and embarrassing:“I think sometimes people think that shooting sex scenes or any intimate scene is really sexy… But it’s not. It’s awkward, honestly, and there’s a bunch of strangers in the room breathing and looking at you. The actor I was working with was as good a friend as he could be, we barely knew each other because it was the first day of shooting and he made me feel safe, he was very polite and respectful.”. On Everyeye you can find the review of The Perfect Match, one of the last films in which Victoria Justice participated.

Despite his discomfort with the situation, Justice praised director Paul Tamasy:“I had a lot of trust in our director, he made me feel very comfortable about this thing and said ‘Listen, I’ll show you first, if you don’t like it then we’ll change it'”.
Moreover, Paul Tamasy was making his directorial debut of a feature film, therefore himself in a new situation to face.

Tamasy was best known for his writing work for David O. Russell on The Fighter. In his debut, Depravity, a group of tenants suspect that their neighbor is a serial killer and while investigating they accidentally discover a million-dollar art theft. The film also stars Dermot Mulroney, Devon Ross, John Smith and Sasha Luss.

Precisely in that period Victoria Justice was also working on the small screen and the series Eye Candy, in which she starred, was cancelled.

On DUNE: PART TWO (4K Ultra HD Blu-ray) It is one of today’s best sellers.
