As a result of the serious fires that affected the territories of the provinces of Palermo, Catania, Messina and Trapani, the Regional Department of Civil Protection has arranged the first immediate measures supporteconomic and social, towards the population directly affected by the calamitous events of 2023. The measures concern the restoration of public and private structures and infrastructures, as well as gods damage suffered by economic and productive activities.
Citizens damaged by fires must complete the form to receive the contribution B1 forms aimed at private individuals and C1 at economic operators (published on the official websites of the Municipalities ed) and, they will have to send the request to the Municipality to which they belong by Tuesday 7 May. The municipal administration will then forward the requests to the regional Department of Economy by May 14th.
“We hope that the investigation will take place quickly – underlines the president of the Union of Madonie Municipalities, Luigi Iuppa – in such a way that those entitled can receive the appropriate compensation following the significant damages suffered last summer”.
