The midwife Luisella Pallozzi tragically lost her life on May 1st following a road accident that occurred in Viterbo. The 54-year-old professional from Narni on the staff of Santa Maria in Terni was transported to the Belcolle hospital under code red, but unfortunately attempts to keep her alive proved in vain. There is enormous mourning in the Terni hospital, where Pallozzi was known and respected. The community of Narni, where the 54-year-old lived with her family, was also shocked.
Tragic crash The accident reportedly occurred around 1pm at an intersection between two provincial roads. The impact was particularly violent with the car ending up in a ditch on the side of the road while Pallozzi was apparently thrown out of the passenger compartment. Rescue was immediate and a rush to the hospital, where the esteemed midwife lost her life. The woman was traveling in a car with four other people. Among the injured, the daughter of the midwife who underwent spleen surgery in Viterbo.
