Everything is ready for the new edition of the Masters of Olive Oil Contest. From tomorrow 2 May, in the splendid setting of Dolceacquathe tastings of the beyond will begin 250 oils in the race coming from 20 different countries to win the coveted titles of Masters of Olive Oil International Contestst.
An edition, that of 2024even more substantial with companies from the four continents where it is produced today extra virgin olive oilone of the products that is gathering more and more followers and enthusiasts in the new millennium.
Its hedonistic qualities, combined with its health-promoting qualities, now proclaimed by in-depth and countless studies conducted all over the world, are increasingly increasing the attention of consumersevoo.
The competition is conceived and organized by the COI panel leader Aldo Mazzini of Imperia with the collaboration of the president ofAssociation of Orange Flag Municipalities as well as mayor of Dolceacqua Fulvio Gazzola and ofAssociation of Grimaldi Historic Sites of Monaco.
Two specific categories of awards are reserved for these two associations.
This year the Jury will be involved in the evaluations of the oils 16 experts at the highest international levels coming from 7 nations among the main producers of olive oil.
The results of the jury’s work will be revealed on next June 8th at the Conference hall of the Novotel Of Montecarlo during the final day in which the usual international meeting will take place with a parterre of absolutely renowned speakers: university professors, industrial producers of oil machinery and market experts followed by the presentation and award ceremony of the winners of the different categories.
