The one won in the derby is mathematically one Golden Star for Inter. The twentieth championship does not only bring honors in terms of history, but also tangible results from an economic point of view. As the Gazzetta dello Sport explains today, the Nerazzurri club is celebrating a “river of money” which arises thanks to the historic success in the championship: from the boom for the new shirt to the valorisation of the cards of various members of the squad, passing through the League and UEFA awards.

As regards the value of individuals, for example, the cards of Lautaro (over 120), Thuram (85), Barella (85), Calhanoglu (50) and Bastoni (70) have increased: approximately +150 million from September to May according to market experts (and Dimarco and Pavard should also be added). And then there is all the commercial activities that revolve around the Scudetto, different from the others precisely because it sews the second star onto the chest of the Nerazzurri: around 16 million in various prizes and the increase of the brand; around 50 million arriving in the marketing sector thanks to the various initiatives dedicated to Milan (half expected only from the new shirt with the double star); 23.4 million from the League for TV rights plus another 10 from UEFA. And so the total is close to 100.

Meanwhile, on the company side, the financing with the Pimco fund: it will take a couple of weeks to unravel the final details, so it will be just before the deadline of May 20th, the last date to repay the 385 million (including interest) owed to Oaktree.
