Tonight the Milwaukee Bucks, although without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, still managed to win game 5 against Indiana with Danilo Gallinari who was on the pitch for more than 20 minutes.
The Italian was on the court for 20 minutes and 30 seconds, to be exact, and finished with 4 points and 6 rebounds, not bad for someone who has really played very little in the last 2 months. He wasn’t very precise with his shots because he finished his performance with 1 out of 3 and 0 out of 2 from long range, but he was infallible with free throws, 2/2. He only lost 1 ball, so he played cleanly, and finished with a pulus-minus of 11, confirming his good impact on the match.
For Milwaukee the best of the match were Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis, with 29+10r and 29+12r respectively. Brook Lopez, Malik Beasley and Patrick Beverley reached double figures, with PatBev providing an impressive 12 assists to his teammates.
In short, Danilo Gallinari confirmed himself as a factor in game 5 of the series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers, after a game 4 in which he was the protagonist out of necessity, given Portis’ expulsion in the first half. Let’s see if he will have the same playing time in the decisive race 6 in Indianapolis.
