He died the other night while he was on duty as a foreman at the Turin Lingotto fire station. Dismay among colleagues and throughout the entire fire brigade at the sudden disappearance of Samuele Del Minister, an operator originally from Tuscany, killed by a heart attack while he was working in the barracks.

As Prima Torino reports, the 50-year-old collapsed and lost consciousness in front of his colleagues. And it was not possible to resuscitate him despite the timely intervention of some policemen who also tried to resuscitate him with the use of the defibrillator.

Hospitalization

Meanwhile, the alarm had been raised on 118. The medics arrived at the barracks and immediately noted the very serious situation of the man, who was taken under code red to the emergency room of the “Molinette” hospital. Here, however, the 50-year-old was declared dead an hour after admission.

Samuele Del Minister was also a valid athlete, as well as a firefighter, so much so that his sudden passing left many colleagues speechless. He leaves in pain his wife Stefania and his two beloved children Nora and Diego.
