The online selections for the tenth edition of. will open tomorrow, Wednesday 1 May 2024 If You SêsBon , The true talent of Friuli.
It is a real talent competition conceived and organized by young people, now between 15 and 25 years old, with the sole aim of giving to charity. “The message that we have been trying to convey to the young generations for years” explain the organizers, “is that doing good towards those in need, in any possible form, gives us personal as well as social enrichment and allows us to grasp and learn many values positive, increasingly rare in our daily lives, useful for life. It also allows us to fill our hearts with satisfaction in having performed important gestures for others.”
The young man from Udine captains the staff Matthew Trogu, born in 2000, creator and artistic director of the event since he was fourteen. Together with him, his team which, composed in 2015 of just 5 members, has now become a team of 18 guys with different ages and experiences, but all linked by a strong friendship and desire to do.
The tenth 2024 edition of Se Tu Sês Bon consists of 3 to 5 events: 2 to 4 semi-finals (based on the number of competitors who will be selected) and the final. The period of events will, as usual, cover the period of September and October 2024, on a weekly basis on Saturdays.
To participate in the selections, simply fill out the appropriate form on the website www.setusesbon.it under the heading “Selections” and send a video lasting up to three minutes where you present your talent. Then all that remains is to wait for the outcome of the selections by the organization.
“You can apply for all types of talent, from the most classic such as singing and dancing to the more particular such as magic, acting, free body disciplines, circus arts and much more. What we are looking for is originality, so give free rein to your creativity” the organizers further explain.
The maximum number of places for this edition is provisionally set at 27 competitors (groups count as only one competitor).
Those who pass the selection phase will access the semi-final evenings and subsequently only the best will participate in the final of this tenth edition.
The sole purpose of the event is to raise funds to be donated to the “La casa di Joy odv” association. This association takes care of children with oncological diseases and offers creative workshops, collective and personalized birthday parties, as well as making children’s wishes come true and small trips. It also takes care of the children’s families, supporting them with both psychological support and financial aid.
