Flood, construction sites begin on the hills to repair landslides

The first works will start in June and will end in autumn and will concern via degli Scalini, via dei Colli, via Sabbiuno and Monte Albano, for a total of 7 million and 620 thousand euros

BOLOGNA – Over 10 construction sites on the Hills to resolve once and for all the most critical landslides caused by last May’s flood, after the temporary interventions already carried out as a matter of urgency in 2023, thanks to an investment of around 1 million euros. The first works will start in June and will end in autumn and will concern via degli Scalini, via dei Colli, via Sabbiuno and Monte Albano, for a total of 7 million and 620 thousand euros. With another package of 3 million and 460 thousand euros, the construction site in via delle Lastre will be completed which, once the necessary authorizations have been obtained, will see work starting by the end of the summer; the via delle Torriane project managed by the Consorzio di Bonifica Renana which has been given the role of implementer by the Municipality of Bologna and via del Ravone, where the works will start between September and October, among the most critical interventions even if the road is currently safe and passable.
A second group of interventions, for 4 million and 160 thousand euros, is being perfected with geologists and designers who are working on the technical-economic feasibility projects for via della Fratta, del Poggio, del Paleotto and Barbiano. The completion of the designs is scheduled for the end of September, then we will proceed with the awarding of the works whose start is expected in the first months of 2025.
