Basilicata is now at the starting line for the start of the service pharmacy experimentation. Following the regional resolution of last December 2023 and after a few months necessary to resolve bureaucratic issues, 121 pharmacies out of a total of 220 are ready to go.

The importance of capillarity across the territory

The services offered
As far as performance is concerned, 70% of pharmacies will focus on telemedicine services, in particular electrocardiograms and Holter – both blood pressure and cardiac; to a lesser extent spirometry will be offered.
Likewise, 30% of pharmacies will offer type II diabetes screening serviceschronic obstructive pulmonary disease – COPD, and hypertension as well as therapeutic adherence monitoring services.
