FONTANAFREDDA (PORDENONE) – Not a quiet period for the kids pets to Fontanafredda. Not only dogs torn to pieces by wolves, but new reports of four legs missing and missing. A notice, which appeared over the weekend and hung on various public lighting poles in via Rivata north of Vigonovo, invites people to be careful and protect their catsWhy “there is someone ready to shoot other people’s cats”. THE CASE
The leaflet protected by a plastic case against the elements, it warns fellow citizens to be careful and protect their pets at home. «Attention says the leaflet. We warn anyone who has cats in via Rivata and surroundings to be very careful because there is a delinquent who enjoys shooting, poisoning and beating felines.”
The author of the notice then recalls that «in 2015 he shot our cat, hitting it two centimeters from the heart. After a few months she poisoned him. Last year he beat the cat. Yesterday referring to the last episode our cat came home with a bullet hole in his side. We had to rush him to the clinic and it was confirmed that he had been shot, fortunately not hitting any organs.”
Then the warning is addressed directly to the author of the gesture: «For your entertainment, we have to spend if 500 euros is enough. There are suspicions about who you are, we hope that this malice will all come back to you”. The two photos that were printed on the notice are eloquent. The first portrays the wound and the visible hole on the cat’s skin. The second is instead the printout of the x-ray of the affected area where a nice white dot is visible. The news and the warning were also spread via social media, on the Sei di Fontanafredda page if… And here the comments are rather harsh towards those who shot at the cat, and there are also those who report other episodes. «Years ago, a user adds – they also shot one of my cats, I filed a report, but they couldn’t do much because the pellet couldn’t be extracted, we also spent a lot of money, and shortly after the cat disappeared. Unfortunately there are too many heartless people.”
THE OTHER ALARM
In Fontanafredda, however, over the weekend there was a new scam attempt against an elderly lady, who however was ready and did not fall into the trap. Unknown persons reached her on her phone, posing as policemen or representatives of the police force, explaining that her son had been the victim of an accident. Usually the announcement is accompanied by a request for money to be sent to the child to deal with the emergency. However, the lady’s reply was ready and she explained that she had no children. She then hung up and called the police who invited her to file a formal complaint.
