Road accident on Monday morning on the provincial road 572 between Desenzano and Salò: in the Padenghe area, in via Marconi (towards Desenzano) and near the Via Tagliamento junction, a 50-year-old woman driving a Fiat van suddenly lost her control of the vehicle, ending up crashing into the side guardrail on the edge of the road.

It was around 7.30: violent impact, but fortunately without serious consequences. Only minor injuries were suffered by the woman driving, who was rescued by the Valtenesi Soccorso ambulance volunteers and then admitted to the Desenzano hospital under green code. There was extensive damage to the vehicle, which could no longer start again: the intervention of a tow truck was necessary and the operations created quite a few inconveniences to traffic.
The busy provincial artery was in fact blocked for a long time: queues and slowdowns were reported for at least a couple of hours. The investigations were entrusted to the Local Police of Valtenesi: there were no other vehicles involved, the 50-year-old would have done everything alone. The officers also dealt with the complicated management of the road system.
