Yet another tragedy on the street in Sicily: a new one has been registered mortal accident in Misilmeri, Palermo, where a 57-year-old man lost his life.
There is also an injury, a 25-year-old in serious condition.
Fatal accident in Misilmeri, a man was killed
According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, one would have occurred head-on collision between two cars – one driven by the deceased 57-year-old and the other driven by the injured 25-year-old – in via Nazionale in Portella di Mare di Misilmeri.
For the man, unfortunately, there was nothing to do: it would be died instantly. 118 operators intervened on site and transferred the injured girl to the Civic hospital. Also present at the scene of the accident were the carabinieri and municipal police officers for the ritual investigations and traffic management, as well as the firefighters for rescue operations.
Two serious impacts in the Agrigento area
The one in Misilmeri is not the only accident that has occurred in the last few hours. Two other serious accidents, in fact, occurred in the province of Agrigento.
The first occurred in Favara, at the crossroads at the entrance to the Crocca state road: following the collision between a tractor and a car, a 58-year-old local man was seriously injured. The 118 operators transferred him to the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Agrigento due to the serious injuries and polytrauma reported.
A second accident occurred in Naro, always in the Agrigento area. A car would have collided with a bike in Viale Aldo Moro. Injured child 10 years old, transferred to the Barone Lombardo hospital in Canicattì.
