Violetta Catalucci, golden piano: tricolor triumph

An Ascolan on the roof of Italy. In fact, last weekend, twelve-year-old Violetta Catalucci won the national competition for young instrumentalists ‘Giovanissimi Suoni’, which took place at the Teatro Lazzari in Monterenzio, near Bologna and which saw the participation of talented musicians from all over Italy. Violetta, who performed with skill on the piano and amazed the jury and the audience with her excellent performance, competed in the ‘modern music’ category. The native of Ascoli played four pieces on the piano, demonstrating notable technical and interpretative mastery: “Porz Goret” by Yann Tiersen, “Interstellar” by Hans Zimmer, “Experience” and “Primavera” by Ludovico Einaudi. Master Andrea Luzi, who prepared the girl for the important competition, underlined the student’s commitment and passion, praising her interpretative sensitivity and technical precision. In fact, thanks to the ‘Music House’ music academy in Ascoli, Violetta was able to develop her musical skills and best express her talent. Winning the first prize in Monterenzio is a well-deserved recognition for the twelve-year-old, who with her talent and determination won over the jury and the public present at the piano competition.
