The Island of the Famous it wants its sentimentality and tonight’s one features protagonists Edoardo Stoppa, castaway of this edition, and his wife Juliana Moreira, who for this episode on Monday 29 April joined him directly in Honduras, for a surprise meeting. Stoppa, who seems to be among the most loved castaways of this edition, not only by the public but above all by the other competitors, for his leadership qualities, organizational skills and ability to light fires, was however subjected to a test of resistance that is not at all easy to face.

If Vladimir Luxuria, the host of the program, had anticipated a romantic encounter without discussion, he later revealed the extent of the test to which Stoppa would have been subjected. Meeting Juliana Moreira will, in fact, mean give up part or all of the weekly rice intended for the group. Something which, once revealed to Juliana Moreira, immediately generates an emotional reaction in her: “Edoardo will never say yes, he will save the rice for the group.”
Stoppa resists the temptation
The moment of the meeting initially takes place at a distance, with Stoppa surprisingly, turning towards the sea, seeing Juliana Moreira on a raft a few meters away. At that point she must choose what to do. Apart from a “free” minute to spend with his wife, any excess time will reduce the amount of rice that will be delivered to the group this week. It is Juliana Moreira herself who sends messages from afar to her husband telling him to give up, so as not to penalize others, so much so that Stoppa seems not to grasp the meaning of the possibility of taking advantage of the bonus minute that the presenter grants him. When he gets on the platform he passionately kisses his wife, he is moved, but before the first 30 seconds even expire he returns to the hourglass so as not to lose even a grain of rice for his group, which earns him the praise of Luxuria and the entire studio.
